Inside Technical Services Representative
Job Summary:
Provide internal and external customers with technically accurate recommendations for the installation and application of CP&F products. Support all functions of the Technical Services Department.
Duties/Responsibilities
Product Support
- Provide internal and external customers with technically accurate recommendations for the installation and application of CP&F products. All recommendations must be consistent with, and limited to, the content of CPF’s Technical and Installation Manuals.
- Respond to all technical inquiries within the same business day or prior to noon on the following business day. Effectively resolve all incoming product related inquiries.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical phone inquiries and web based “contact us” emails.
- Respond to all messages left on the Technical Services shared voicemail within the same business day.
- Salesforce CRM
- Serve as a capable back up for departmental Salesforce support.
- Maintain office hours of 8AM to 5PM at the Administrative Campus.
Product Knowledge Training (PKT)
- Provide assistance in leading internal and external product training segments to educate customers, employees and reps on the installation and application of CP&F products.
- Assist in the management of PKT communications through EventSpark. Ensure that communications are accurate and are sent on time.
- Assist in maintaining PKT attendee reports in Salesforce.
- Maintain mastery of materials used in training programs.
Product Knowledge Training Facility
- Assist in maintaining product displays, including set-up and break down for classes as required.
- Assist in maintaining and compiling training materials as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of all CP&F piping systems or the proven ability to fill any knowledge gaps rapidly.
- Capable of providing support for the installation and application of all CP&F products.
- A talented public speaker and teacher.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented and strong organization skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Travel as required.
Education and Experience:
Required:
- Associate’s degree or higher in technical or business field of study.
- Experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for the education.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field of study.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
