Marketing Communications Specialist

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is seeking a dynamic Marketing Communications Specialist to join our in‑house Marketing Department. This role is an essential contributor to our brand’s voice and visual consistency, serving as the primary owner of technical and corporate literature. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, this position supports strategic communication initiatives that strengthen our reputation as an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities

 

Corporate & Technical Literature Management

 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Charlotte Pipe and external graphic design partners to manage updates to corporate literature, including price lists, manuals, brochures, technical guides, and product sheets.
  • Oversee the production and printing process for materials requiring hard copies, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Maintain and update files within the digital asset library, ensuring version control and accessibility for internal stakeholders.

 

Marketing & Communications Support

 

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather information, clarify technical details, and ensure messaging accuracy across all materials.
  • Support branding, marketing, public relations, and advertising initiatives to ensure consistency with corporate standards.
  • Assist with writing, editing, and proofreading content for internal and external communications, including newsletters, presentations, website content, and promotional materials.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of communication plans for product launches, events, and company initiatives.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to support marketing projects and maintain brand integrity.

 

 

Project & Workflow Management

 

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables align with brand guidelines.
  • Track project progress, maintain documentation, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of processes related to literature development, content accuracy, and asset management.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in marketing, communications, project management, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated experience proofreading and editing content‑heavy documents.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with senior leaders, technical experts, vendors, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems, or digital asset management tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.
