We are currently seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Order Entry Team Member to join our team.

Position Summary

 

The Order Entry Team Member plays a vital role in supporting our customers and sales teams by ensuring orders are entered, processed, and communicated accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is service‑oriented, organized, and eager to learn business systems and processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on achieving positive business outcomes.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter customer orders and related data into SAP, consistently meeting quality and timeliness expectations.
  • Release and process incoming orders in accordance with established procedures.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with Inside Sales Associates and Regional Managers.
  • Learn, understand, and consistently follow the Charlotte Pipe order fulfillment process, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Assist department leadership with additional tasks and projects as needed.
  • Serve as the primary backup for the Receptionist, as required.

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus; willingness and ability to learn SAP functionality is required.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships across teams and departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, but not required.
