Receptionist

There is an opening at our Corporate Headquarters for a receptionist. We are looking for an individual ready to join our fast-paced and innovative team. Excelling in this role lays the foundation for future growth.
The receptionist will be responsible for preparing the reception area and equipment for the start of the business and close of business each day. During business hours all incoming calls will be answered and directed to the appropriate associates; all visitors will be greeted, presented with a visitors badge after they register on the visitor log and the associate they are visiting will be notified.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Responding to all inquiries/customer requests professionally and efficiently.
- Answering the telephone and directing the caller to the appropriate associate.
- Manage general inboxes and forward messages to the applicable department.
- Communicate and empathize with customers when needed.
- Manage and maintain security systems such as vehicle permits, cameras, and visitor badges.
- Learn aspects of Order Entry and other job-related functions using SAP software.
- Process and coordinate returns for our wholesale customers.
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
- Assist with deliveries.
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to use appropriate business communication, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal and relational skills.
- Knowledge of or the ability to learn SAP functionality.
- Positive and helpful attitude to foster relationships with team members and other associates throughout the company.
- Capability to learn plastic and cast iron products.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
