This is an exciting Opportunity at Our Corporate Headquarters! We’re currently seeking a VMI Analyst to join our dynamic Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Department. If you thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and are passionate about driving customer success, this role is for you.
As a VMI Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in managing inventory for some of our largest and most strategic customers. You’ll collaborate across departments—including Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain—to ensure optimal stock levels and seamless replenishment processes. This position offers outstanding potential for professional growth, visibility, and impact within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize inventory levels across the distribution network to ensure balanced stock and prevent shortages or overages.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with distributors, purchasing teams, and the CPF Customer Service department to generate timely and accurate replenishment orders.
- Foster strong professional relationships with customers, Regional Sales Managers, representatives, and internal CPF departments to support seamless operations and communication.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with distributors to resolve issues, align on inventory needs, and maintain service excellence.
- Interpret and evaluate VMI data to support demand planning, forecasting accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong communication skills — adept in verbal, written, and presentation formats across diverse audiences.
- Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, collaborative attitude that supports a productive work environment
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain Management principles, processes, and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Familiarity with SAP and BW, or a demonstrated ability to learn enterprise resource planning systems quickly
- Experience with Alteryx and Tableau for data analysis and visualization is a strong plus
- Willingness to travel up to 5% as needed for business purposes
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
