Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Monroe, NC, is looking for a Grinder with a proven track record to join our team. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Investment in the latest tooling and machinery make it possible for us to meet increasing demand for our products and to provide the highest quality pipe and fittings in the industry. Summary: Processing Grinders will separate material by color and operate grinder equipment to produce regrind for production use. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Separate material based on color
  • Operate forklift (pick up material to be ground at molding machines)
  • Load conveyors
  • Operate grinding machines
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on grinding machines and conveyors
  • Keep work area and equipment up to 5S housekeeping standards
  • Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform job duties
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor 

 

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Successful completion of Mechanical Reasoning Assessment
