Molding Machine Processor

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Monroe, NC, is looking for a second shift Shipping associate.   Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications.  Investment in the latest tooling and machinery make it possible for us to meet increasing demand for our products and to provide the highest quality pipe and fittings in the industry.  We offer a safe and productive work environment. Summary - Each Shipping associate is responsible for filling customer orders by operating a forklift or picker to select, count assemble and load materials. Responsible for completing all required paperwork, operating computers, operating  wrapping machine and maintaining equipment.

 

General Job Description:

Regular predictable attendance

Work under CP&F safety guidelines & handbook policies

Operate forklift or stock picker

Check and re-check orders selected to insure accuracy

Operate stretch Wrap machine-only in certain jobs

Pull boxes and fill orders per production PFP standards

Transport finished goods between warehouses as required

Review and record incoming materials as required (checking material vs. packing list, etc.)

Load and unload trucks

Be proficient at processing small packages using Federal Express Software

Understand/trouble shoot conveyor system and PUID operation

Load/unload rollback and standard racking

Operate switcher (Pipe Pad)

Communicate with sales, associates and carriers

Operate fax and copy machine

Perform puts/gets/receives

Wrap and load skids

Knowledge of Charlotte Pipe products

Band and board up skids of pipe (Pipe Pad)

Complete maintenance vehicle inspection (oil, fluids, belts, tires, etc.)

Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

 

Experience or Training Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Forklift license.
